Update on Paityn

Paityn has been growing and growing! She is doing much better on tummy time (though it still isn't her favorite thing to do!). She actually laughed really hard for me and Mark today! It was so adorable! I love to hear her make her sweet noises and laughter has to be the best noise that she has made so far!
Many of you may have noticed the red rash that she has on her face in many of the photos. Well, the other day, the rash got really bad. All over her face, arms and body! She was also very fussy (highly unusual for her) and not sleeping as well. So we took her to the doctor. He thinks that she has allergies. More specifically, food allergies. So we switched her formula. The rash started to clear up a bit and I then changed laundry detergents too. She is much happier, sleeping better and her skin is starting to feel like skin instead of sandpaper. She still has some dandruff that we are working on. The doctor told us to use regular dandruff shampoo. I've done it for about a week now with minimal results. I'll keep using it, and hope that it will clear up.
Ok, on with the good stuff. Pictures of our little princess doll!

Here she is doing tummy time without crying!
Look at all that drool! She has become quite the
drool baby, I don't feel any teeth yet...just drool.

She thinks that she is pretty cool sitting up all
by herself in her "Bumbo" chair. She holds herself
up really well.

She is getting the hang of her hands. She is starting
to grab for things....and then put them straight into
her mouth...increasing the drool.

I love this "surprised" face. It's just adorable!

Her hair reminds me of "Syndrome" from "The
Incredibles". It stands straight up with a little wave
if I don't try to get it to go curly or put it in pig tails.
It's cute nonetheless.

Mommy and Paityn hanging out, getting ready
for bed. (P.S. Mommy cut her hair...it feels so much
better!)
We hope that this Valentine's Day will find you well. And we want to wish Elisa a great big Happy Valentine's Day! This is a day to celebrate all the love in our lives, and we love you so much! We hope that you have a fantastic Valentine's Day and know that we love you eternally!

  1. Tate was allergic to Tide and I had to switch when he was little too. And Allie had way back cradle cap. The doctor said selsan Blue (i don't know how to spell it) but it worked pretty good.
